After an intense competition held by the South African Council of Business Women, our head of Marketing, Elize Kerr won the award for Non Profit Organisations (NPO’s) in the Gauteng region. This prestigious event was held at one of the lodges outside Pretoria. Elize also succeeded in winning the National trophy for Business Woman of the year in the category Non Profit Organisations (NPO’s) at Bloemfontein on the 2nd of September. We are all very proud of her!

It has always been a passion of Elize to make a difference in the lives of children.  Due to the economic recession the Jakaranda and Louis Botha children’s homes as well as Berg-en-Dal Pregnancy Crisis Centre has been left in the lurch and we hope and pray that this great honour that has been bestowed upon her will open doors for the large task of raising R22M this year. “Elize recently commented that due to the recession we are battling to raise funds for this financial year and that through this award, prospective sponsors will see that the above mentioned organizations are trustworthy and that the public can support her in achieving her goals”.
